Course Overview
This course will:
- Equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to proficiently manage organizational records from creation to disposal.
- Foster a deep understanding of key concepts such as the definition and rationale for Information Management, the value of records, and the principles governing the information lifecycle.
- Provide practical insights and strategies for the practical application of Information Management principles, including the analysis of work processes and the implementation of effective Information Management systems.
- Enable participants to navigate the digital landscape of Records Management, covering digitization, legal admissibility, and secure information sharing and transfer.
- Empower participants with the knowledge needed to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including defensible destruction and the application of retention and disposal policies.
